Laser and Acrylic Experts Are Hard to Find

Laser Freedom is happy to present Amanda Leavitt she is an inspiration to everyone who knows her, here is her story. When you step into Cerulean Tides in Pompano Beach, the goal is simple — you should feel possibility. Whether you’re a hobbyist, a small business, or just curious about what lasers and UV printing can do, the shop is laid out to spark ideas and help them take shape.

Inspiring Success in Laser Innovations

From classroom to creative hub

Amanda didn’t start out planning a supply shop. She was a 7th-grade science teacher, always inventing hands-on projects and little rewards that made learning stick. That curiosity led her to lasers and UV printing — first as classroom tools, then as a way to help others bring ideas to life.

What began as tinkering and teaching became entrepreneurship and community building. Today Amanda is the founder of Cerulean Tides: a place where makers find not just materials, but the know-how and encouragement to turn a sketch into something real.

“Creativity isn’t just about making things... it’s about unlocking what you didn’t even think was possible and then sharing that excitement with others!"

Our Specialties

Cerulean Tides is more than an e-commerce supply shop— it’s about removing barriers so creators can focus on making.

Laser cutting & engraving — custom signs, layered art, precise parts from wood, acrylic, leather, and more.
UV printing — full-color, durable prints on flat surfaces like acrylic, wood, and metal.
Supplies that work — tried-and-true sheet goods, adhesives, hardware, and blanks so you don’t waste money learning on your customers’ time.
Creative support — one-on-one project sessions (virtual or in-person), workshops, and community meetups.
If you’re local, stop by the Pompano Beach shop to see the materials in person and leave with both supplies and inspiration.

A Place for Makers

Cerulean Tides has grown into a community hub: hosting workshops, sponsoring local events, and giving people a low-pressure place to explore new tools. Here, mistakes are just part of the learning — and every small win is a reason to share what you learned next.

At the heart of it, Amanda’s story proves one thing: with the right tools and a little guidance, creative projects become pathways — to a small business, to a meaningful gift, or simply to the satisfying joy of making.
