Our Three Rules
Our goal is to support the principles of integrity, craftsmanship, and community. These aren’t just talking points — they’re the rules that guide everything we publish and every test we run. 1. Get the right tool for the job Tools aren’t trophies — they’re workhorses. When we test machines and materials, we focus on what actually performs in the shop. We do our best to stay objective (see Rule 2). 2. Do your own research — trust, but verify There’s nothing better than not believing what you’re told. Believe your eyes. Do your own research. If you have questions, come into the LaserFreedom Facebook Group and ask for opinions. 3. Get off the couch and make something Progress beats perfection. We encourage builders to try, learn, and ship. Templates, settings, and tutorials exist to remove excuses and get you making — today. Some of Our Best Policies - Disclosure first: When gear is purchased, loaned, or sponsored, it’s disclosed plainly. - No pay-to-praise: Support never buys a review. Performance decides outcomes. Replicable testing: We share the 'how' (files, settings, materials) so others can reproduce results. Corrections welcome: If we miss something, we fix it — publicly.
